MISSION STATEMENT

The Society of Clan Hope of Craighall has been formed to provide a place and environment for "ALL OF THE NAME AND LINEAGE OF HOPE" to meet, research and promote our mutual Scottish ancestry.

We welcome and invite all of those of ANY lineage of HOPE ancestry to join us and participate in our related ongoing genealogical research, Clan activities and those gatherings and projects in which the Society from time to time engages.

We also welcome and invite all those persons of Scottish lineage (through birth or marriage) who have no clan association or society with which to be affiliated.

Clan Hope is a small clan and not a sept of any other clan.

With the official recognition of The Late Hereditary Chief of Clan Hope
Sir John Carl Alexander Hope, 18TH Bt. of Craighall, the Clan Hope of Craighall Society was formed.
